MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- A gunman shot and killed three people on Tuesday in an attack outside a county courthouse in central Michigan, Reuters reported. Police said a suspect was taken into custody late on Tuesday afternoon after a standoff. The victims, two women and a man, were on their way into the Isabella County Courthouse for a probate hearing when the lone assailant opened fire on them, police said. The gunman, believed to be a former husband of one of the victims, fled the scene after the mid-morning shooting in this farming community about 60 miles (95 km) north of the state capital Lansing.
